UnboundLocalError

Hi everyone,

I am a post-doc and would like to use Topostats for AFM data processing and analysis. After the successful installation of TopoStats (version: 2.3.1) in an virtual environment on Windows (64xbit) with python version 3.10.17, I ran the command topostats run. After running this command, I got an 'UnboundLocalError' of a local variable 'val' in get_layer_val that is referenced before assignment.

Can anyone help me to understand, whether this is a "bug" that needs to be fixed or whether it has something to do with my settings.
