Drag and Drop sample

Is it possible to drag an image from UXP Panel and drop it in the PS app?
I have already created Auto Icon Plugin which is a library of icon collections. If I could use the native PS Drag and drop it could be really nice but unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to do that and I was forced to use an import button in the UI.
Is there any plan to implement this feature?
