Episode Playback Fails to Resume on Galaxy Watch

Description

User reported that some podcast episodes abruptly stop playing on their Galaxy Watch and refuse to resume, even after a day or on a stable connection. Other episodes play normally, but the affected ones remain unplayable. In some cases, skipping back briefly restores playback, but not reliably. Issue recently occurred with three consecutive episodes from the same podcast.

I hope this can be resolved soon! By the way the episodes can continue to play on my phone just fine so it's really related to the Watch app.

This report with a Garmin watch sounds related: 10084033-zd-a8c

My Garmin venu 3 music controls no longer start the podcast when I hit play after I've paused it. It works with other apps just no longer with pocket casts. It did at one point but has not worked for a few months now.

I stopped using the watch app from Pocket casts for this reason until they fix it. I'm afraid not many users use the watch app because the issue does not have high priority for their dev team to fix it.
