Connnecting to Swift Nav Piksi with Swift Console

Use the following instructions to connect to Swift Nav Piksi with Swift Console.

Windows computers

1. install swift console from here: https://support.swiftnav.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2756825-installing-swift-console
2. Connect windows to gps using the ethernet connector on the gps
3. Configure your windows computer to have the following static IP for the port connected to the gps: 192.168.0.223

4. start Swift console and select the TCP/IP option

Ubuntu computers

1. install swift console from here: https://support.swiftnav.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2756825-installing-swift-console
2. Connect the computer to gps using the ethernet connector on the gps
3. Configure your windows computer to have the following static IP for the port connected to the gps: 192.168.0.223
   • Use the command 'ifconfig' in the terminal to determine which port the gps is connected to
   • Click on the network symbol in the top right corner and select 'Edit Connections...'
   • Add a new connection of type 'Ethernet'
   • Navigate to 'IPv4' settings tap
   • Change the method to 'manual'
   • Add a connection with address '192.168.0.223'
4. start Swift console and select the TCP/IP option
