Future of this plugin and Netbox Napalm

With the release of Netbox Assurance and Discovery in the pipeline, is there an update on the future of this plugin? We all really appreciate the time and effort that has gone into these plugins, and certainly for me and my team they have been very useful, however we need to plan the future of our Netbox usage if the future for this plugin is uncertain. This plugin isn't going anywhere.

NetBox Assurance/Discovery and this plugin serve two very different functions.

This is configuration backup whereas Discovery and assurance will simply pull in your current state to NetBox but does not backup.

While you could achieve similar results with assurance, you aren't going to have direct parity for functionality.

Further, assurance is a addon for NetBox enterprise and does not address core NetBox requirements. It also requires that you have invested time in to setting up assurance and discovery which not every organization can do.

If you are wondering about the delay in updates, netbox-napalm is currently required for this plugin and there was only a recent update published to enable it for 4.3, however I may look to decouple that in the future.
