The GeoServer GSIP 234 - Advertise and Enforce Attribute Restrictions will include the possibility to configure two type of restrictions range and options at attribute level. It would be nice to allow users to configure restrictions inside the create dataset page too.

It would be nice to enhance the backend logic to support restrictions and possibly to expose the create dataset via API instead of a django view
