Alternative branch of Tizen build?

Hi all,

Would it be possible to consider adding the ability to build from a different branch of the Tizen repo?

The reason I ask is that the developer has forked the original repo to a secondary branch which includes AvPlay (the native Samsung API for playing videos which removes the limitations of HTML5).

This is the other branch: https://github.com/dmitrylyzo/jellyfin-tizen/tree/avplay

I don't think he's included AvPlay support in the primary branch yet.

@MrSimmo I've created this tool to install jellyfin easily on your Samsung TV

Jellyfin2Samsung

You can select jeppevinkel pre build wgt files, however the tool does allows you to install custom WGT files.

I've also compiled the avplay branch into a wgt file wich you can install onto your TV

And its available through the tool latest beta version, cause maybe more people want it

Thanks Patrick, looks really interesting. I'm a Mac + Linux user - is there a Docker version that I could use?

Unfortunately not as the tool requires tizen tooling which is also windows based.

You could however spin up a virtual machine running windows.
