Ive constantly had this problem no matter how I write the setup up. Im on Windows 11, using Java 11, maybe the issue is coming from my laptop’s admin configurations? Ive seen mention of the temp and tmp variables but unsure how to go about that if thats the issue.

Thanks, it helps a little bit. I thought perhaps it could've been due to an ARM64 Windows laptop, judging from the UnsatisfiedLinkError but this is not the case it seems. We'll have to dig deeper into this.

would it possibly have something to due with hadoop or native i/o files? or could it be an installation error on my end

it is possible. I remember once i used a wrong winutil and i couldn't download anything. You must follow all the steps here properly: https://sparknlp.org/docs/en/install#windows-support

Hopefully, this works for Windows 11 as well
