Hi, I was taking a look at the terms of use for MAS assets, and I had a question about using code for other DDLC/Ren'Py projects.
In the terms it says that you're allowed to use code for a project as long as it isn't trying to replace Monika After Story or fulfill a similar function as it. The repository also said that the project is open source. However, the terms also say that you must get permission from the team before using any MAS specific code.
I was wondering if I would be able to use some of the backend code for minigames (NOT the related art assets), since they're well coded and would be a fun side addition to the project I'm working on. I want to implement something like NoU as a card game that's optional in a sort of choice based text-adventure DDLC mod. I don't want to use any of the MAS loop or "forever" mod type code or anything, but just a version of the card game and maybe even pong, since the edit used in MAS seems better than my implementation so far.
If not, I understand, but I just wanted to get some clarification on the usage of code from this repository, and if explicit permission is always required or not.
