Installer does not start on Windows 11, Squirrel log not created

Awakened PoE Trade version: 3.27.102
OS: Windows 11

Description

The installer Awakened-PoE-Trade-Setup-3.27.102.exe does not complete installation:

• A temporary folder is created in %TEMP% (e.g., nsp523A.tmp)
• No entries appear in SquirrelTemp or %localappdata%\Awakened PoE Trade
• No Squirrel log is created
• This happens both when Discord is installed and after Discord has been uninstalled (assumption was that squirrel is pointing to discord installation files when starting setup)

Expected behavior

The installer should run Squirrel, create logs, and install the application with automatic updates.

Additional info / Workarounds

• Ran as Administrator
• Antivirus / Windows Defender / SmartScreen did not block the process
• ProcMon shows no ACCESS DENIED entries
• Related generic issues report similar behavior:
  • Running in compatibility mode for Windows 8 successfully allows installation
• Steps like downloading the .blockmap, turning off real-time protection, or running as admin did not help
