Are ScrollViews able to change their max widths?

When using a ScrollView with auto_width=True passed in the constructor, the max width of it doesn't change when the sizes of the widgets inside them change. For example, in the code viewer example, if auto_width=True is passed in the constructor of directory navigator and I click on folders, text that is too long will be truncated and end in ... rather than the width changing. Is there a way to make it so the width of the ScrollView would change depending on the current size of the widget?

I found a solution. I used self.app.directory_view.update(self.app.directory_view.window.widget, home=False) to update the ScrollView and therefore reset it's size. Here self.app.directory_view is the ScrollView that contains the DirectoryTree.
