Description
Some games seem to freeze when both EA and Steam Overlay are active.
This counts for this one as well. I have added Galaxy of Heroes as a OSOL Shortcut to my Steam Library as a Non-Steam Game but I'm having difficulty getting it to launch correctly if both EA's and Steam's Overlay are active.
Since I actually prefer the Steam Overlay, I could just disable the EA Overlay but unfortunately it is no game-dependant option on the EA App like it is on Steam. It is a global setting for all EA Games.
And if I disable the EA Overlay in the EA App before launching the game, the game will run through Steam without freezing but the in-game purchases will not work since they require the EA Overlay to be active.
Is there a way that both overlays can be activated in this game through OSOL? I know that EA always ships some kind of overlay injector when buying their games on Steam, however this particular game is only available on EA and not Steam. I am not sure if it's allowed to reuse that injector from a steam version of an EA Game(I own a few) for this game and if it actually works like that or is even allowed...
Maybe there are some options for OSOL I could attempt to get it working?
