I dream this will be possible to add some AA unsupported apps (doidvnc.apk)
With this, i can replicate the HU screen on my Virtual Cockpit screen (Golf 7).

Hope this will be possible, i know it's possible on some chinese dongle.

This is possible when proxy is configured as DHU, so custom AA APKs can be used. But there also other methods, not fully related to this project.

droidVNC do not support Android Auto, so this cannot be done. I know some apps can do screen casting and push it through AA, but this will be messy. So actually, there is no easy plug & play solution for this.

the first part of vidéo is patching the unit to add the vnc client, then in secound part you see droid vnc running on chinese AA dungle

Try to enable MITM + Developer mode then select in AA options that you want to install from "unknown sources" in developer mode in AA in phone as well.

i know how to done on the phone parts for devmode.

as @gamelaster said... droidVNC is probaly a "normal" Android application. For AA you need an android auto app. There was some solutions/app for screen sharing but I don't know if they're still working. For sure it's possible to enable apps which are normally disabled in AA via method I described above (with MITM + Developer mode).
