Notification keep pooping up over and over.

After updating from 2.4 to 2.5, I get this notification every 3 minutes. It is annoying. The synchronization is working, at least the Upload only option, which is the one I'm using. I already ran the command to turn off notifications both on "sync" and "monitor", but this message keeps spamming. How do I get rid of this notification?

You need to look at what the client is doing under the hood when it is generating that message.

If this is generating this every 3 minutes .. this to me sounds like a local environment issue. Given that you have updated from v2.4.x .. probably on a Ubuntu platform .. you most likely have an underlying systemd service running - that Ubuntu installs by default - that has not been removed ... thus that instance, is not bound by your configuration where you have disabled notifications .. as when you disable that all notifications are disabled.

Please go through the steps to install the client correctly on your platform.

I follow the instructions on how to update, but when checking other messages, I realize that upgrading always carries these kinds of issues.
Gotta remove, then reinstall.

After reinstalling, the notification was still there. But this time, using --monitor argument showed me which files were causing the UTF8 issue. So I remove them, and the notification is gone.
