Solutions to "cannot connect to chrome at 127.0.0.1:59305" error

Hi, I've faced a problem and found a fix for it. Thought might be helpful to somebody

Problem

The most interesting lines are those two:

selenium.common.exceptions.WebDriverException: Message: unknown error: cannot connect to chrome at 127.0.0.1:59305
from chrome not reachable

Note, that there are other errors, output of which looks the same, but doesn't have those two lines.

Solution

Found at undetected-chromedriver issues:

1. Install the X Virtual Framebuffer display server
   apt install xvfb -y
2. Set DISPLAY environmental variable to :1
export DISPLAY=:1
3. Start a Xvfb process in the background
   Xvfb $DISPLAY -screen $DISPLAY 1280x1024x16 &
4. Put a big "thumbs up" emoji to the original solution

I did everything that was in the instructions and it did not help me.

I personally use a VPN rather than a proxy. You can try out some free HTTP proxies from https://vpn.fail/ locally before using them on your server. (To make sure you don't get 1020 errors)

I checked it, my browser ip matches the ip from which I send the request to chatgpt. But in the browser I see chats and can send and receive messages, but not in the console. What else could be the problem?

Maybe you need to add all the cookies that are?

Could you edit the code to print the response status code and send it?

As I see it, the problem is in the proxy. It's strange that in the browser with the same proxy everything is fine
