This project was generated using Nx - Angular 14.0.2
Code for the libraries of @ng-ar/fa-input, @ng-ar/prime-input, @ng-ar/tab, @ng-ar/modal and @ng-ar/mask are included in this repo.
installing NX globally
npm install -g nxcreating nx workspace with angular
npx create-nx-workspace --preset=angularrunning angular app in development
nx serve app-nameto see the files to be changed or created while creating component, use the flag --dry-run
nx g c home-page --project=project-name --dry-run10-minute video showing all Nx features
Nx supports many plugins which add capabilities for developing different types of applications and different tools.
These capabilities include generating applications, libraries, etc as well as the devtools to test, and build projects as well.
Below are our core plugins:
- Angular
ng add @nrwl/angular
- React
ng add @nrwl/react
- Web (no framework frontends)
ng add @nrwl/web
- Nest
ng add @nrwl/nest
- Express
ng add @nrwl/express
- Node
ng add @nrwl/node
There are also many community plugins you could add.
Run ng g @nrwl/angular:app my-app to generate an application.
You can use any of the plugins above to generate applications as well.
When using Nx, you can create multiple applications and libraries in the same workspace.
Run ng g @nrwl/angular:lib my-lib to generate a library.
You can also use any of the plugins above to generate libraries as well.
Libraries are shareable across libraries and applications. They can be imported from @nx-monorepo-practice/mylib.
ng g @nrwl/angular:lib lib1 --publishable --importPath="@<organization_name>/lib1"ng g @nrwl/angular:lib lib1 --publishable --importPath="@<organization_name>/lib1" --tags="scope:public,type:util,target:all"ng g @nrwl/angular:lib lib2 --publishable --importPath="lib2"-
Building
$ nx build lib1 $ nx build lib2
-
You will find built and ready to publish versions in
dist/libs/lib1anddist/libs/lib2. Now we ready to publish it to npm. You need to go to dist directory of your projectcd /dist/libs/lib1 -
Publishing
npm publish --access public
Run ng serve my-app for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.
Run ng g component my-component --project=my-app to generate a new component.
Run ng build my-app to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/ directory. Use the --prod flag for a production build.
Run ng test my-app to execute the unit tests via Jest.
Run nx affected:test to execute the unit tests affected by a change.
Run ng e2e my-app to execute the end-to-end tests via Cypress.
Run nx affected:e2e to execute the end-to-end tests affected by a change.
Run nx graph to see a diagram of the dependencies of your projects.
- To begin, add the
angular-cli-ghpagesbuilder.
ng add angular-cli-ghpages- If you’re deploying the project to a Github project page you’ll need to set the
baseHrefproperty as the repository name. ThebaseHrefwill be used for all relative URLs on your site. You could specify thebaseHrefas part of the project architect deploy options in theangular.jsonfile. Or just pass it as the--base-hrefflag to theng deploycommand. If you’re deploying the project to a Github user page, you do not need to set this option.
ng deploy --base-href=/<repository-name>/GitHub will automatically enable Pages when you push a gh-pages branch. There is no need to enable Pages from the repository settings.
ng deploy --base-href=/ng-my-libraries/- Remove
angular-cli-ghpagesafter deployemnt as it's not supportingangular 14.
