Unable to run make all command in the root of the project directory as guided in the getting started page

To deploy the infrastructure in the AWS account, I should run the command make all in the root of the project but when i am doing that, it says no such file or directory. I have double checked that the Makefile is in the current working directory and has the necessary read write execute permissions also. Please help me resolve this issue. I am running all these in the virtual environment.

there seems to be some issue with the Makefile itself
