Also maybe not related, but is the plugin supposed to try and sign in without user intervention? When I go to the plugin in the publish section for instance, if I click outside or change the window I get a popup saying I need to fill in login information, but I didn't even click 'test' or 'save'.

I get the error in the title as soon as I enter the API key, even before hitting test.

I just checked and found the cause for that. Fix will be in the next release.
