How to turn on TextMate like syntax highlightig (in particular the Monokai theme)

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of Eclipse IDE for Embedded C/C++ Developers and noticed that it has TextMate installed by default (TextMate Core and TexMate Language Pack components). So how to turn on TextMate for C and C++ files? I looks like these files are assigned to the default C/C++ editor and this cannot be changed. Or am I missing something?

I don't know, probably these are new additions to Eclipse.

After some digging I have found a solution:

1. In Window->Preferences->Content Types->Text->C Source File set Generic Code Editor as default.
2. In Window->Preferences->TextMate->Grammar choose a theme you want for C and C++ files.
3. Apply changes.
4. Close your C/C++ file(s).
5. Open your C/C++ file(s) and voila – your files are highlighted as you wanted.

Another theoretically possible solution is to set C/C++ Editor (LSP) as default. However, it is installed by default with vanilla "Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers" while for some strange reason it isn't installed with "Eclipse IDE for Embedded C/C++ Developers". Of course I am talking about version 2025-06 in both cases.
