Hi Anders. I have updated this example with dynamic simulation of a separator to version 3 of neqsim Q1: Looking at the code - the liquid level is initialized as volume fraction - in steady state simulation (run method of equipment): And also used like this in dynamic calculations (runTransient): So level in this respect is as you say liquid volume fraction. Q2: Also the LevelTransmitter just reads the level/volume fraction from the separator: It seems not to be possible as it is now. This should definetly be implemented. I will have a look at this later. Thanks for pointing at this fact. Even |

Thanks a lot @EvenSol, I did some mods to make it run in v3 locally as well :-) I don't think it is a big deal, some simple geom calcs can do it externally, but for sure it would be nice to have it implemented |

As I can deduce, the liquid level specification of a separator in neqsim is by actual volume fraction? Can anyone confirm this perception? If so is there a way to get/set the actual level (by distance from bottom) or is this a a calculation to be done manually on the side?
