Fix code checks

Code checks failed due to outdated actions being used.
I addressed this in this pr.
latest confluent images check failed. I did not dig deeper, but I am assuming
this is due to zookeeper becoming obsolete and the new KRaft setup in the newest images.
I suggest either removing it for now or creating a separate docker-compose.yml for it.
