/backup/unifi is not backed up by Home Assistant

There does not seem to be a straightforward way to have Home Assistant backups actually include the .unf files created by the Unifi addon (via the autobackup feature). I can see them and manually copy them at /backup/unifi via the Terminal addon, but I would prefer they would get backed up by a full backup snapshot in Home Assistant. I've looked through the .tar files of my full backups and cannot find them. If they were copied to /config/unifi or another path that a full Home Assistant backup covers it would be appreciated. /backup is not backed up.

If there is another straightforward setup to back these files up I'm all ears.

In case it isn't clear, what happens in the current state is the the symbolic link file that points to /backup/unifi is backed up within the addon itself and not the directory contents. This effectively blocks Home Assistant from being able to back up the .unf files that the addon is generating via autobackup.
