Update ListView to RecyclerView

I'm wondering what potential benefits are there by switching from a ListView to a RecyclerView and whether the benefits outweigh the effort required to perform the conversion.

main benefits are for animating items or switching layouts (ex from list to grid, etc) - if you're not animating items nor dynamically changing layouts, you don't need to bother imho.

JazakAllahu khayran. I guess we'll postpone this until we have a stable release, only then can we worry about animations.
