It would be nice to have a new git repository initialized in the project directory as well, although I'd like to have the option of toggling it and specifying my own defaults in something like an .aspenrc file.

@spencer1248 , what do you think about aspen generating an .aspenrc file (based on the flags you toggle/template you select on the command line when you first create your project tree) - which you could then subsequently alter? Is that basically exactly what you're saying?

I think it would be better to leave creating an .aspenrc to the user, then people who are testing out your gem wouldn't clutter their home directory.
