apk build looking for help

Hi, I'd love to test the apk build results on android, is it convenient for you to take the time to make it build successfully? I may not have understood the miqt apk build documentation correctly, thank you. Below is the action log of the failed build

The error message is: cannot execute binary file

Usually this means the Go compiler is not chmod +x, or else, the Go compiler was downloaded for the wrong architecture (e.g. amd64 vs arm64).

But in your container, those seem to be correct, so that's likely not the problem.

Due to my poor English, I can't precisely understand the steps to build the apk manually in miqt readme, I tried to perform each step on my local machine before, but I was puzzled by a lot of details, so I can only try to build it in ci first. So I can't try to perform each step manually on win11 natively, if you have a detailed tutorial for win11 that would be great. Currently I downloaded qt5.15.2 and qt6.9 using the qt online installer and it builds the exe successfully, also I downloaded the official compiled binary package of qt for Android using the online installer and then tried the readme steps, I can't figure out a lot of the details, looking forward to your tutorial.

I tried it myself today. Actually, i got the same problem.

The docker container worked fine if you run it interactively:

$ docker run --rm -it -v $(pwd):/src -w /src miqt/android:latest
root@39bdf3b23520:/src# go version
go version go1.23.1 linux/amd64

But, if you run a command "go version" directly on the container, the problem happened:

$ docker run --rm -it -v $(pwd):/src -w /src miqt/android:latest go version
/usr/local/go/bin/go: /usr/local/go/bin/go: cannot execute binary file

This is caused by some bug in the Dockerfile.

I'm working on it today, please check #149 .

nice work, forgot to clarify one thing, docker related sites seem to have been blocked by China half a year ago and are inaccessible, the only reliable way to access global sites is action at the moment. Also, can we change the current qt5 android docker and rebuild a qt6 one? I don't know much about docker, but judging by the contents of the qt5 docker, I'm guessing it would take a long time to build as well as pre-publish a build bin to the docker hub site?This way every time we build the qt6 apk we can save time by directly calling the qt6 android bin related, I'm not sure if I'm understanding this correctly.

The current Qt 5 Android docker was prebuilt by @RaymiiOrg . I couldn't find any such prebuilt Qt 6 Android docker, but we can update the Qt 5 one (#146).

Currently, all of Miqt's containers are only as Dockerfiles, not pushed to Docker Hub. Maybe this can change soon if miqt becomes more stable.

If the Docker Hub site is not available in China, then using the Dockerfile would also be difficult. Even the first part FROM debian or FROM ubuntu would fail to work. Anyways, you can read the Dockerfile and perform its steps manually.
