MATLAB agents should follow coding guidelines

The code it's generating now can deviate pretty far right now, and I'd appreciate if it could follow the guidelines automatically.

I have created an LLM-friendly version of the coding guidelines. I was waiting for the creation of a public AI rules repo to post (discussing with @nothans), but have attached a copy here in the meantime. You should be able to just add to any prompt to point to these. Or follow tool-specific naming and placement rules for adding custom repo instructions such as .github\copilot-instructions.md

For the MCP server, I would prefer it if the user could choose which coding guidelines it adheres to. Also, there might be times where I don't want to give the AI any guidelines at all. For example, if I am using something with a smaller context window.

+1 Mike that the use of coding guidelines needs to be completely under the control of the user.

Agreed the user should have control over which guidelines (or none) are being followed. I'm just voting for the official guidelines being the default setting, given how much its improved the code I've been generating. I'm guessing most users will have a similar experience. If they want to use different guidelines or none at all that should also be supported, but I'd prefer that to be the manual step.
