RC controller specs

Hi,

I would like to buy a RC in order to manually control the drone and ease the debugging process in my project. In the documentation of AirSim, the FrSky Taranis X9D Plus controller is recommended since the developers have proven it to work with the files and the tutorias provided. However, it is quite expensive. At the moment, I am looking at alternatives, such as the RADIOMASTER T8 PRO (English alternative), which show a similar performance for a lower price. My main challenge is that I am not sure whether this type of controllers could work and what I should look out for in a controller in order to be able to use it within AirSim.

I do not know whether you can advise me on what specs I should look out for in order to have a seemless integration with AirSim.
