Customized rules with BPA

I'm looking for documentation for customizing rules for the .run_model_bpa() and .report.run_report_bpa() functions. Is this functionality already available (it was mentioned by Michael Kovalsky during a webinar with Sue Bayes)?

Because I understand from searching on the internet that the rules parameter of the .run_model_bpa() function is only used to limit the rules to be analyzed and not to add rules that can be customized by companies...
