Stories are important; They stick forever and broadly impact our perception.

Bitcoin's story of inception cannot be matched in it's perfection. The story of it's distribution however, will forever remain flawed, gradually turning into a bigger stain with each passing year. Aside from it's clear financial implications, it presents an unwelcoming & discouraging narrative to Bitcoin's new adopters, as if they are valued less than the previous ones.

The Grin project's decision to set it self apart in it's story of distribution is controversial, but nevertheless an invaluable distinguishing factor in forming a more positive and welcoming narrative for Grin in it's future.
