New to custom APIs Could I use OpenRouter?

Hey all! I got comic translate working yesterday and its all working great! but the translation quality is a little lacking on google translate, I also have a OpenAI account with a few bucks on it, but really, GPT o4 mini isn't all that amazing either, it also often times skips translating the entire page...

So i through maybe it would be possible to use OpenRouter? I'm already using it for other AI LLM programs that require an API, but this is the first time I've had to set a URL endpoint and model? anyone tried this before and willing to write a simple step by step? since I'm still quite a noobie lol

If you're using Open router, your URL should be:
https://openrouter.ai/api/v1

I think this is all you're missing. Try it out now and let me know if that resolved it.

Wait nevermind i was being a dumbo and still had it sat to Google translate woops! yeah getting this message? guessing i might need to use "deepseek/deepseek-r1" ?
