Pixi.js v8 compatibility #145

Hi there,
are there any plans for future updates to support pixi-animate under pixi v8?
Unfortunately, I haven't tried the animate 3.0.1. with v8 yet, maybe it is compatible, does anybody know?
I have a lot of (older) assets in pixi-animate and I want to update core to pixi v8 ideally for all projects. But as I can see low activity and releases here and there's not mentioned the v8 compatibility, is it planned to be supported, or maybe dropped?
Our team these days is not using Animate anymore, all animations are Spine, so I need it just because of backwards compatibility.
I'd like to know some status for future decisions, thanks a lot!
