Rstudio word template?

I have been trying to get the word template to work but it doesn't seem to be reading my file. I created the template using the recommended pandoc template docx. Is there a reason that quarto rstudio wouldn't read, e.g. functionality is not there yet? Any thoughts appreciated. |

Nevermind! I cut and paste the YAML syntax for reference doc and it somehow fixed it. I don't think I had any errant spaces, but apparently so. |
