q-expansion-item: How to change the size of the expand icon?

In a q-expansion-item, how can the size of the expand icon (arrow to expand/collapse the content) be changed/increased?

As expected/documented, expand-icon-class="text-purple" changes the color of the expand icon.

However, expand-icon-class="text-h4" (or other size) does NOT change the size of the expand icon.

That seems inconsistent to me. Is it a bug? Is there another recommended way to change the size of that icon?
