Filter only mp3 audio files

I'm trying filter only for typical mp3 extensions: I have to restrict user from selecting any other audio file other than .mp3 from iOS and Android.

I tried as per suggested comment #240 (comment)
However, did not get success. I also tried by providing
type: [ mime.lookup('mp3') ], and
type: [ 'audio/*.mp3' ],
type: [ 'mp3' ]
but did not get luck.

Any help is appreciated.
