When play-sound-from-file with variable handle is played too many times, the subsequent sounds are not played. It also affects the change-soundtrack operator if no soundtrack was being played before sounds ceased playing.
In case of the attached bug reproduction mission it cases to play at 0m 38s mark on my machine, although in actual missions it can behave differently between machines according to Nyctaeus.
This bug was introduced after 20250715 nightly, probably after this pull request.
