Secure Boot & Battery Health

Hello @seerge ,

I got my Asus Zephyrus G16 (2024) AMD + RTX 4070, 2TB SSD and 32GB RAM around February/March.

So I decided to remove armoury crate and install GHelper.

I changed my charging limit to 80% and I play games in the night while plugged in.
I kept watching the battery health of the laptop, from 98% not it has dropped down to 66.9% and I think that is a huge drop for just 2 to 3 months.

I don't know if it's because I limited the charging to 80% or not. I am worried about this issue.

Also, my secure boot is on, does it interfere with GHelper.

I am also planning on running a clean install on the laptop. Do you have any advice or tips for me?

1. Battery health is a very rough estimation from hardware and windows itself. Most likely your battery is just miscalibrated, try to discharge to a low rate and charge to 100% couple of times to get more accurate estimations.

2. Secure boot has nothing to do with G-Helper

If you want you can obviously do a clean windows install :) It doesn't affect G-Helper anyhow as far as Asus System Control interface driver is installed which happens automatically anyway.
