Brave Browser and MetaMask

Hey Patrick,
I am having a little issue with using MetaMask with Brave Browser.
For some reason when I try to connect to MetaMask by selecting MetaMask in the Wallet Connect, it is opening the Brave Wallet.
I have checked my browser settings and wallet settings and there is no way to select MM as my default wallet and there does not appear to be any way of disabling the Brave Wallet.
I am currently using Chrome but I am very reluctant to use my Keys as they are holding real crypto.
I have thought about creating a Burner account and setting up another Chrome account but I really am trying to get away from using Chrome and migrating over to Brave.

I am referring to the REMIX part of the training when you need to connect to your wallet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you try disabling the Brave wallet here brave://extensions/ ?

How about setting the default cryptocurrency wallet brave://settings/wallet here to none?

weird... yeah idk.

Maybe try resetting the wallet? Or making a new brave profile?

I have the same issue. I've worked around it by manually connectin
g with the site like you showed in the video.

Maybe try turn off the "Show Brave Wallet icon on toolbar" switch control, just to see if it affects anything. (I saw it on a reddit thread sugesting it alongside disabling brave://settings/wallet )

Also says to restart brave when done
