Transaction printout error

Hi!

On 4:00:10 Patrick is printing out transaction details. My code shows a mistake.

@cromewar I figured it out. But for some reason the system simultaneously confirms it's solc-x existence (requirement already satisfied) and states that it need to be installed. Any suggestions?

The reason is because you have the path of the project on your c folder I strongly suggest to move the project folder to WLS file path

Follow this guide to open the WSL home path on windows 10: link
if you are on windows 11 it should appear as Linux on your dile explorer.
Then just move the project folder into WSL home folder, then open the project using Windows terminal ;)

short answer for plain windows (not WSL) users, searching for a quick (and dirty) solution: replace your web3 version by the specific web3 version 5.24.0:
pip uninstall web3
pip install web3==5.24.0
