Hi, I'm Dan!

I'm a software developer based in Stockholm, Sweden, with over 20 years of experience, much of it dedicated to open-source projects. During my time at Red Hat, I worked on IoT and security, and served on the Node.js Technical Steering Committee.

I discovered llama.cpp during this period, which ignited my passion for LLM inference engines. This led me to join lmstudio.ai to continue this journey. However, I realized that I wanted to deepen my understanding of how these engines work, so I decided to leave and take a few months to study AI full-time.

Currently, I'm immersing myself in AI, learning, and contributing to llama.cpp. Sponsoring me would allow me to continue contributing to this project and advance open-source AI development.
