  • Please tell us about yourself (include an email address):
    Name: Diarfitri, Email: fitrio88@gmail.com

  • Your purpose in using this API:
I am building a free, non-commercial mobile app called 'Takhrij' to help users verify hadith authenticity, understand the context, and access Salafi-based commentary. The app will provide reliable sources, including text and references from the 9 major hadith collections. My goal is to support users in accessing authentic Islamic knowledge and reviving the Sunnah in an accurate manner.

  • API rate limits:

Maximum requests per second: 2-3 requests per second (light usage)

Maximum requests per day: Up to 1,000 requests per day for public users (non-commercial educational app)

  • Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
I prefer programmatic API access to ensure I get the latest data, but if a full offline dump becomes available, I would be interested for future scalability.

  • What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
    Primarily Arabic and English.

  • What programming language will your API client be in?
The app is built in React Native (JavaScript) for frontend and Node.js (JavaScript) for the backend.
