not a bug but a question: is there any way to have SI run automatically when things are fixable?

in other words run it silently, and have the window open only when user input is required to fix the geometry?

something like an option or even a bit of extra code one could run to do this?

I'm not sure how that would work. If it autofixed every times when something was done to the model it'd always delete single edges etc.

And then there is the question on what it should operate on? The open instance? The selected? The whole model? (The latter could severely slow things down.)

that's easy, selected or context (obvs not the whole model) just like it is now but without having to interact with the dialog/buttons.
