main branch updates effectively on pause

I’m only one person. Right now I’m working on the generate-from-schema branch and unfortunately I can’t work on the main branch at the same time. Minor issues and pull requests will still be resolved, but I won’t really be making any changes to the main branch unprompted. Either I’ll focus on the main branch again if I make no further progress on the generate-from-schema branch, or I’ll get the generate-from-schema stable and that will become the new main.
