Run easunpy in a linux box?

Sorry about asking this here (definitely not an issue with easunpy),

Would it be possible to run this in a small linux box and perhaps monitor via a web interface?

Hi, it is deffinetly possible you just need to install the easunpy through pip and implement the web interface by using the python module.

There is actually a terminal interface that you can use as inspiration also.

I have an Easun SMG II 6.2KW inverter so i installed easunpy on a Rpi4 to monitor it.
In theory it should work, but i can't make it work properly,

It detects there is an Easun inverter on the network and starts, but not with the correct model settings.
It starts with the default settings for the 11KW inverter and the readings are just wrong (different register addresses).
I tried to "fool" it by replacing the 11KW register addresses with the 6KW ones in "models.py", but i just get an error:
"unsupported format string passed to NoneType.__format__".

I assumed that the Easun SMG II 6KW programmed in Easunpy, is just short for the Easun SMG II 6.2KW inverter i have (am i wrong?).
If so, is there a way to choose the inverter model on startup?

PS.
Is there a way to switch the dashboard? (i get the simple one with just the ascii sheet of values).

Any clues?

Hi Asxetos21,

I see the issue, the dashboard was not updated. I just pushed a version that should work with a model flag passed to the dashboard.

./monitor.sh --model ISOLAR_SMG_II_6K

Give it a try to see if it works now.
