Isolar SMG II 5.6 KP wifi

Hello, I'm new to Home Assistant. I want to use your integration to achieve dynamic charging of a car. I need online reading of the power data produced by the solar panels from the inverter. I install the integration, enter the IP of the inverter, but something doesn't work, the integration simply doesn't read the data from the inverter. My inverter was bought in 2022 and is an Isolar SMG II 5.6 kp WIF. It works with a wifi dongle and I see the measurement results in the SMART ESS application, but the update is every 5 minutes and is not always up to date. I would be grateful for some help. Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the late reply — this is a side-project I started as a personal hobby, so I don’t always have much time to dedicate to it.

Originally, the integration was built and tested with an 11 kW device. Later I extended support for 5 kW models, and some users have reported success with them, but unfortunately I don’t have a unit myself to test against.

I actually had the same idea of integrating it with a car charger for dynamic charging, so it would be great if we can get it working for your setup too! To move forward, could you please enable debug logging in Home Assistant for the integration and send me the logs? That will help me understand what’s going on with your inverter connection.
