How to tell if a phone is "Unisoc"? #146

Apologies in advance if this question isn't a very smart one. I've been looking for budget phones that aren't Google Pixels (since the budget ones have battery issues they aren't willing to fix from my experience) and aren't OnePlus (since apparently newer firmware doesn't like you unlocking it) and my eyes have been set so far on the Ulefone and Oukitel brands of rugged phones. Though, according to the readme here, "Unisoc" CPUs are the ones that make them unable to have their bootloaders unlocked. So when browsing for phones I've been checking the Specs and searching for any mention of "Unisoc", (been looking at Ulefone Armor X13, Ulefone Armor X32, Oukitel WP36 ) there seems to be no mention of Unisoc CPUs, just MediaTek. So what I'm meaning to ask is, if a phone has a Unisoc CPU it'll just flat-out say in the Specs page before you buy right? There's no gambling on whether or not you can unlock it until you've already bought it? edit: nvm lol. it's the CPU type |

Just search for the specs online. Generally, GSMArena is a pretty reliable source. |
