BioStudies Submission Tool

Overview

The BioStudies Submission Tool is a web-based platform designed to facilitate data submission to the BioStudies database, which stores descriptions of biological studies and links to relevant datasets. This tool supports both individual researchers and bulk pipeline data depositors, enabling easy upload, annotation, and organization of biological study data for archiving and sharing within the EMBL-EBI infrastructure.

• Integration: BioStudies records can mirror supplemental data from publications, or host independent biological datasets

Usage

1. Access the Tool
   Navigate to the submission web portal: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/biostudies/submissions

2. File Upload

   • Upload files into your BioStudies account directory.
   • Organize and manage files for use in one or more submissions.

3. Create a Submission

   • Start a new study record.
   • Provide metadata including title, description, authors, and links.
