vehicles Reverse Movement

in Some Games the vehicles can go reverse for a short distance instead of fully turning back.
in Generals even if the distance is very short , the vehicles turn around completely ! this cause a lot of problems and losses during the combat.
can such a thing be Applied on Generals game or it's hard ?
