Reverse Cache

A Reverse Cache is a Wherigo created by -Waldmeister-. You can find it here. It transfers Coordinates into Reverse Cache Numbers. The user enters the Reverse Cache Numbers from the Geocaching listing website and the Wherigo shows how far away the final is. Goal is to get to the final with as few as possible checks for the distance from the current user position.

However, sometimes you just want to get the coordinates directly and not play the Wherigo. wIgHelper will just do this for you. Calculate directly coordinates from Reverse Cache Numbers and the other way around.

wIgHelper also allows you to easily get the Reverse Cache Numbers from entered coordinates.

Action Extension

wIgHelper also includes a so called Action Extension. This extension is added to the general Share menu. The Reverse Cache Action Extension allows a faster way to calculate coordinates from Reverse Cache Numbers. Just mark the numbers for example in your browser and use the Share ... option in the popup menu. This will open the general Share sheet which includes the action. (You may need to configure the action in the Share sheet. Just swipe up to see all the options) The calculated coordinates will be copied to the general pasteboard, so you can use them however you like.

Errors and also a success message will be displayed via local notifications. To make sure to see them, check your Settings App, select wIgHelper and allow Banner in notifications.

Here are some pictures which show how to use the Action Extension on a example website:
