Update operating system minimum version to Ubuntu 22.04

Situation

Get Started > Install Cypress > System requirements > Operating System currently includes Ubuntu >=20.04 alongside Debian and Fedora:

Linux (x64 or arm64)

• Ubuntu >=20.04
• Debian >=11
• Fedora >=41

The following status changes for Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal Fossa) have taken place:

• Standard support ended in May 2025
• GitHub Actions retired the image ubuntu-20.04 on Apr 15, 2025
• Python 3.8 included by default with Ubuntu 20.04 reached End of support on Oct 7, 2024. Python is required to build and test Cypress from source.

Current Ubuntu LTS versions are:

• Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish)
• Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (Noble Numbat)
