Added the option 'iconOptions' so you can customize the icon element i.e. 'icon' => 'fas fa-random', 'iconOptions' => [ 'data-custom' => 'custom data for icon element', ], resulting in: <i class="fas fa-random" data-custom="custom data for icon element"></i>
